Tomorrow's Super Bowl
I love me some football. I just wish the Saints had a consistent QB to hit Horn or Stallworth the same time, everytime, but that's a totally different rant.I am all about the Eagles for the big dance tomorrow. More because of my distaste for the Patriots though, not because I'm a huge fan. Don't get me wrong... I think McNabb got skills. He's, in this humble bloggers opinion, the best running QB today. The Man trys to tell you that cat from Atlanta, er, what's his name, Vick is the best running QB but I always had it for McNabb.
I dislike New England because they are way good, and they know it. They are not humble. Every interview and spot I have seen leading to this weekend with or about the Pats has had this air of arrogance about it. I just can't put my finger on it, but for some strange reason they leave me with a bad taste. Maybe it's because they are hyped bigger than a Hollywood royalty couple breaking up. I just can't stand media hype and over saturation. It just seems like they are good, they know it, and it's all up in their heads.
Now that's not to say that Philly doesn't have it's share of ego maniacs. There is hardly an attention whore in the NFL bigger than Terrel Owens. I rank him up there with Randy Moss and Warran Sapp as the biggest loud mouth, look at me, attention starved jack asses in the league. Also the three guys that need to shut up... alot.
In conclusion, I guess it is because the Eagles are underdogs and I dig McNabb a bit I'm call it Eagles over the Pats by 3. And I will go so far as to say, I predict Vinitari will be blocked or MISS a chance to tie it up for overtime. Vinitari is who New England can thank for everything they have. He has won all the important games in this 'dynasty'. But I feel tomorrow the weight of him holding the team up for the past 5 years will break him.
I have to go to bed. Since I think God is the only one reading this thing, I'll see you in church tomorrow buddy.
